Our Story
At Prodigy International Montessori School, our journey began with a simple yet profound belief — childhood is not a race to be hurried through, but a beautiful phase of life to be cherished, respected, and gently nurtured.
In a world where education often became associated with pressure, comparison, homework, and rigid expectations, there arose a quiet vision to create something different. A space where children could wake up excited to learn. A place where curiosity would be protected, individuality would be respected, and learning would unfold naturally with joy, confidence, and purpose.
After completing his Bachelor’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Founder Mr. Aravinth found himself drawn towards a deeper calling in education. His search for meaningful learning led him to Chennai, where he pursued the AMI Montessori Diploma Course (3–6 years) at Navadisha Montessori Foundation. There, he discovered an approach to education that viewed children not as empty vessels to be filled, but as capable human beings with immense potential waiting to unfold.
Inspired by this philosophy, Prodigy was founded in 2014 with the dream of building a child-centred environment rooted in freedom, respect, independence, and peace.
As the vision grew, Co-Founder Dr. Jain Aravinth became an integral part of this journey. With a Doctorate in English Literature from Madurai Kamaraj University and extensive Montessori training through the AMI Orientation Course (0–3 years), AMI Diploma Course (3–6 years), and AMI Diploma Course for Adolescents (12–18 years), she brought warmth, academic depth, and a strong sense of purpose to the institution.
Together, they envisioned education as more than academic achievement. They believed schools should nurture kind hearts, thoughtful minds, confident voices, and responsible individuals who grow in harmony with themselves and the world around them.
What began as a small dream has today evolved into a growing group of institutions — each carrying forward the same quiet promise:
"Education is not about rushing childhood.
It is about honouring it."
